Concept

Graphic design of the Horizonte concert series by the Baroque ensemble Ad Fontes, based in Basel.

The project aims to translate the ensemble’s musical world into a contemporary graphic language, reinforcing its identity while sparking the curiosity of a new audience.

The overall atmosphere is poetic, highlighting the emotional dimension of baroque music. Horizontal lines structure the composition and serve as a base for the textual information. Impressionist inspiration evokes both the horizon, openness, and light, suggesting a sensory journey. A deliberately imperfect horizon line create energy and dynamism. The word Horizonte placed vertically reinforces the idea of rupture and visual surprise. The spectator is invited to change perspective, to move away from the expected view—just as the ensemble brings a renewed interpretation of ancient works.
